I grew up across the street from a great guy named Jim. He was almost like my second dad growing up. Anyway, every time I see him, he says to me, "Are you still married?" Yes, Jim, I am still married after ten great years. Today is our 10th anniversary! I can't believe it has been that long! I feel so lucky to have such a great relationship. Here are ten things I love about Josh.
1- I love how funny you are. I also love that I am one of the few people that actually knows how funny you are. I think it is so odd when people say you are so quiet and shy. That just means they don't really know you well enough.
2- I love how you always put my needs before your own. Thank you for realizing that being a full time mom is hard. I know that even when you have had a totally stressful day at work, you will come home, pitch right in and let me get out for a break.
3- Thank you for being such a good example to me of someone who is righteous but not self righteous. You have a quiet way of doing all the things the Lord would have you do without making anyone else feel less worthy or inferior. Observing the way you live your life makes those around you want to be better.
4- Thank you for being such a great dad. You really had no choice but to jump in full force when Luke and Ellie were born. I remember watching you holding those little 4 pound babies, change their diapers and help feed them without hesitation, and thinking how lucky I was to have your calming influence around when things got crazy. Our kids LOVE playing with you. It's so fun to watch you interact with them, and almost become a kid yourself. Thank you for being such a wonderful example for them.
5- Thank you for being such a great provider for our family, but for also finding the balance between work, home and church. I know your job is so stressful and you can never get enough done. I can't even begin to imagine how you do all that you do. But, thank you for making us a priority in your life.
6- I love that even though you are an executive in a company, you are still wearing clothes that you owned when we got married, and, up until a year ago, drove the same car you drove when we got married. I know I give you a hard time about it, but it is one of the things I love the most about you. To me, it shows that you know the best things in life are not things.
7- I love how close you are with your family. I think it is so wonderful how well you all get along. Especially when you all work together everyday. You all have a mutual respect for each other, and you have so much fun together. I love your family and am thankful to be a part of it.
8- I love it when you start laughing really hard. It is hilarious.
9- I love that we have the same taste in just about everything.
10- I love that I get to spend forever with my very best friend and the very best person I know!
I love you so much! Thanks for an amazing ten years!

Liz you really knew what you were doing when you made the choice to marry Josh..As your parents, we knew from the start that he was one to hang on to. We can't agree with your ten reasons more. Have a great trip! The kids are going to be fine and we can't wait to have them with us.
Happy Anniversary! Have a great trip and relaxation.
Oh I'm weepy Liz! Can I add one? #11, I love how Josh can pretend that he loves Amy's cheesecake even though it is terrible!
You are so lucky Liz, Josh is a gem indeed....but lets not forget just how lucky he is to have had you for the past 10 years! Congrats, and enjoy the cruise!
