Easter!

Our Easter was great this year! It was pretty laid back so we were really able to enjoy just being together as a family. On Saturday, we dyed our Easter eggs. It took a lot of patience for us to wait for them to get colored. Just look at these little faces.....

Along the way, we had a couple of eggs break. Luke was pretty excited about that. He LOVES hard boiled eggs. Parker wants to be exactly like Luke. He decided he needed to eat an egg too. However, he soon realized he was not a fan! He spit out the first bite and refused to eat any more.

Here is the finished product. Nothing fancy, but we sure had a lot of fun!

The Easter Bunny paid us a visit on Sunday morning. The kids were so excited to see their baskets. The bunny went really simple this year. He was worried that the kids would be disappointed that there weren't many things in the baskets, but they were happy as clams!

After discovering our Easter baskets, we got ready and went up to my sister Monica's house for a delicious Easter brunch and to watch General Conference. This is one of my most favorite traditions.
My kids love their cousins. They get so exicted when they find out we will be spending time with them. Monica's kids even put together an easter egg hunt for all of the little kids.

After a quick break at home, we went up to Josh's parents for Easter dinner and our second easter egg hunt of the day! Once again, the kids had a blast playing with their other set of cousins. What would we do without our families? We love to be with them.

Ellie loves her little cousin, Owen. She would follow him around all day. Here she is playing peek-a-boo with him.
By the end of the day, we were worn out. Parker had to unwind with a little coloring. We are all so thankful for the Easter season and for our Savior and His life and sacrifice for us. I hope you had a wonderful Easter too!

Fun activities.

Our Easter Bunny was pretty simple this year too, and the kids didn't even to notice. Perfect! No need to go overboard, huh. :)

We had so much fun with your family at Easter and also in Midway on Saturday! Thanks for inviting us up. Before we headed out of Wasatch County, we just had to get a shake from the Dairy Keen! I forgot how yummy that place is. Anyway, loads of fun! Love you all!
