Next, can I recommend a great family night activity? It wouldn't be one to do very often because it is kind of expensive, but we took our kids to Tepanyaki, the Japanese Steakhouse for dinner. They were so fascinated by the fire, and the amazing chef, that we didn't have to try to entertain them at all until the food came! Ellie even opened her mouth to catch a shrimp that the chef tossed perfectly into her mouth (and she didn't spit it out!). The kids ate all their food and we had a great time!
And finally, I was at my parent's house a few weeks ago with the kids. They were downstairs playing with my mom, and when they came upstairs, they had a surprise for me. They were wearing my Halloween costumes from when I was little! Parker was a clown, Ellie was Little Red Riding Hood and Luke was a mouse. Don't they look so cute?
