Easter Egg Hunting

The day before Easter, our neighborhood hosts an egg hunt. It is always a big hit with the kids. Is it just me or is it always freezing on Easter? This year, of course, it rained during the hunt but the kids were still determined to find their eggs. Here they are displaying their eggs proudly.

After egg hunting, we had juice and muffins and then the kids got to have a pony ride. We all had a great time!

On Easter morning, we are happy to report that the Easter Bunny came! He brought a few small toys and a little candy. The kids were so excited to see their baskets at the bottom of the stairs. They sat and admired each toy and piece of candy in each basket.

For Easter dinner, we went to Josh's parent's house. We had a delicious traditional Easter dinner and then another fun Easter egg hunt with our cousins!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the wonderful Easter evening! What a great day!
