Soccer season is upon us! Luke was SO excited to start playing! We went out and bought the smallest cleats we could find, shin guards, and a ball to practice with. This year, he is playing USA soccer where they play three on three. We are hoping this way, he will get a feel for the game. So far, the cute little guy just runs around the field, enjoying the sunshine and the scenery. They named their team Yellow Lightning after much deliberation. (They were going to be the guinea pigs!) I love that he is trying new things. He also started karate which he LOVES!
My kids are growing up and I am beginning to get a taste of what life is going to be like for me as my kids get more involved in activities! They are in preschool, Little Gym, soccer, dance, karate and swimming. I'm tired just thinking about it! I feel like a taxi already!

Your kids are busy. So that means Mom is busy. I think back over my own childhood and it was pretty simple. Is the world spinning faster? Luke looks like he is having a ball! (lterally)....I love that kid. I think he is going to be a super swimmer! He is so much fun to watch in the water. Maybe he is going to be like his grandma Jani.
This is so cute! I love little kids and soccer. I think I might sign Grace up for next year - she'd love it. Just think - only 3 weeks and we'll be on a plane headed towards our Ames! YEAH!
Oh my gosh. Look how cute he looks. I remember when Coop was that little in his first soccer uniform. They are so funny to watch at this age. You have the best kids!! I just love them to death!!
I feel like a taxi too! I just wish I got paid for all my trips to and from!!

And to think it will only get busier! :) I'm glad he's enjoying it. Will you send me the karate info?
Where is he doing karate? I've thought about having Sam do it.
IS it nice? Jack and I spend 24 hours a day with eachother, and I can't imagine what it's like to have him gone...for more than an hour somewhere.
Is it nice?
I love me some Yellow Lightning. Or some Guinea Pigs. They're having a LOT more fun this year, yes? ;)
We need to come and watch Luke on the soccer field. Those were fun days when Lynn Barney coached you, Liz, way bach when. Remember? I don't think you were too enthused about soccer. Can you remember?
