October is upon us! I can't believe how quickly it has come! I love fall. The smell, the comfort food, wearing sweaters, etc. I have, however, never loved Halloween. Perhaps it's because my birthday is only a few days before? Perhaps it is because I don't like to be scared? Who knows? I must say that since becoming a mom, Halloween is growing on me. I love seeing my kids get so excited about dressing up and going trick or treating. They have been wanting to wear a costume almost every day.
One night, one of them had the great idea to get all bundled up and go out for a "ghost walk." We packed them into the strollers and went hunting for ghosts and other Halloween decorations on people's porches. They LOVE this! They ask to go on a ghost walk almost every night. This may become a new family tradition! This particular night, they asked if they could dress up for the walk. They thought if they wore their costumes, maybe they would scare the ghosts away! Don't they look tough?

You kids are so cute! We visited them last week while Erica was there! Scott loved all the big boy toys, he didn't want to leave!!
Great idea--your kids look so cute--I miss seeing them!
This IS a great idea. We are definitely going to go on some ghost walks (and maybe Mama can walk off a few more pounds of this baby weight!!!).
I love the idea of "Ghost WAlks"...can you believe you have kids that don't get spooked (unlike someone I know)...they loved helping Grandma and Grandpa get out all the Halloween stuff last week...a witch, a pirate, and a junior pirate, have I got that right?
"Ghost Walks" are the best idea ever. Very cute pics as well ;).
that's a cute idea. we may have to try that.
