Portfolio Girl!

One of the things I love the most about Ellie is how creative and artistic she is. She goes through more paper, markers, crayons and colored pencils than anyone I know! She can draw for hours and hours and I love to see how confident she feels when she is drawing. As a mother (and a terrible artist), I have really tried to nurture her love for drawing. I have found a really great art class for her that she absolutely loves. It is through the Visual Art Institute. She has been taking classes for a little over three months now and I have really seen her love for art grow. She has become quite a talented little artist! Here are some of the pictures she created in her first semester of class-

Ellie talks all the time about how she wants to be an artist who sells her paintings in a gallery. I hope someday her dreams can come true! I know I would buy and "Ellie original!"
