Farmers Market and Farm Country

Note to self...Never take kids again to the Farmer's Market. I had such good intentions that this would be a fun family activity. However, it turned into a disaster. There were too many people to really stop and look at things without losing the kids. Then, we lost one of Parker's shoes so I sent Josh on a mission to search for it. I thought this was a fine idea, until I realized I had left my cell phone in the car and had no way of knowing where he was or where we should meet. We were separated for a good half hour. While waiting for him, Parker had a total meltdown, and Luke and Ellie both said they had to go to the bathroom. O.k., so we are in Pioneer Park with only a port-a-potty in sight, you get the picture. Once we finally found Josh, I was so ready to go and I vowed never again to attend such an event with my children.

Luckilly, that night, we had been invited to a birthday party for our cute little neighbor at Farm Country. The kids had a great time feeding all the animals and riding the horses. So, I guess our "Farm Day" wasn't a total disaster!

That is funny... love the honesty- I have had so many moments like that where I think, What was I thinking bringing them here? But then look how angelic they are on those horses... those are great pics.

Oh, thanks for all the advise. It seems to have helped A LOT. Zach is doing much better and so am I. :) It was so fun seeing you guys.

Looks like fun! Ha! Sounds exactly like Lavender Days for me. Too hot, too many people, too much STUFF. Our kids don't do well under those conditions, yes? See you soon.

That is too funny! I didn't realize that you had a FULL day of party and farm! I thought the kids had fun, while you were probably thinking, "When will this ever end!" Well, needless to say...Gaby was so glad they were there!
