Happy Birthday, Parker!

Happy Birthday, Parker! I can't believe you are two! I still remember the very moment I found out I was pregnant with you. My initial feeling was fear. How would I handle two year old twins and a baby. Then, I was overcome with this amazing feeling. What a miracle you are! What is your mission here on earth? Why did the Lord feel the need to send you after so many years of struggle to get Luke and Ellie? I know someday I will understand all of these answers. In the short two years you have been on earth, I think Heavenly Father sent you here to bring joy and happiness to everyone you meet.

First of all, you are my little buddy. I know I sometimes complain about how much you love me, but really, I am so grateful that you feel safe and happy when you are with me. I feel such overwhelming love when you run to me, give me a hug or even smile at me.

You are about the cutest thing I have ever seen. Even people who don't know you comment on how adorable you are. Your red curly hair, big brown eyes and little smile make everyone happy. You are also so full of personality. I think my friend Heidi once said you had so much personality, it might burst out of the top of your head!

I like how independent you are. You can play by yourself, feed yourself, and are even wanting to dress yourself (unlike you brother and sister who still ask me to do all of the above for them :) ). I also love how you say "Yeah, sure," when I ask you to help me with something.

I wonder if you know how funny you are. I like your funny songs, your deep "puppet show" voice, your silly dancing, running and falling down.

I don't want you to grow up! I love you so much and think you were sent here to earth to make me happy. You will always be my little buddy. Happy Birthday.

He knows he's funny. You've seen that mischievous look on his face when he does something funny. Like, "ha ha, wasn't that great!". Happy Birthday to him!
