Grandma and Me Tea!

This year for Mother's Day, I gave my mom and Jani an invitation to a tea party! The Protea Cottage at Gardner Village has a "Grandma & Me Tea" that is the cutest thing you have ever seen. With all of our busy schedules, this weekend was the first available for us to all get together. It was well worth the wait.

When we got there, we each got to pick a tea. They had so many delicious ones to choose from, but I settled on Peppermint, so did Jani. My mom picked Lemon Verbina and Ellie got some pink hot chocolate. As our tead brewed, we were seated in the dining room. They have hats and dress ups for the little girls (and the moms and grandmas too!) We sat down, and then helped ourselves to some delicious tea, scones, finger sandwiches and yummy desserts. It was so much fun to watch Ellie try on the different hats and dress ups and to hear her talk about the tea cups, sugar cubes, little desserts! She was in little girl heaven. I had a great time watching her and enjoying tea and company with my moms!

I lobe that idea so great. They had a cute little place in Eugene that we used to go to. I will have to take my mom there.
