It's official. I have elementary schoolers! Luke and Ellie started kindergarten today! They were so excited. I was so nervous! They woke up this morning so eager to go. Josh is in China so my sweet Dad came over to give me moral support.
They looked so big as we walked to the bus stop together. When the bus finally came, they grabbed each other's hands and walked on together like such big kids! I was so proud! I shed a few tears. Twins are so special. I'm glad they have each other to count on. I followed the bus to school to make sure they got to their class o.k. They didn't even need me. They did great!
I never thought this day would come. I have been both dreading it and looking forward to it for years. Now that it is here, it just makes me appreciate my kids even more. I am so thankful that I get to be their mother. I am so proud of them. Way to go Luke and Ellie!

Aww, so cute! And so big!
Sending the first kid(s) off on that first day of kindergarten is such an emotional time! I'm hoping I'll be less tearful when Piper starts later this month than I was with Chloe. I doubt it!
Congratulations on surviving a MAJOR milestone of motherhood ;)
That is so cute that they held hands and went together. I would have teared up too.
They are so lucky to be able to do everything together--here's to a lot more "firsts!"
Wow what a big day! They are so cute. I love that they held hands and how they are such best friends. Your dad is the sweetest to come.
So...Danielle (my sis) is pregnant with twins. She's a nervous Nelly about how to do all the newborn stuff (like feeding them and the sleeping thing). I'll have to get your tips for sure!
That would be so weird for me to put Jack on a bus and walk away... how strange...
Are you year-round? I can't believe they've already started school! Cute kids.
Oh my gosh! They look so big! I love you guys!
