During our walks, we passed a lot of these little guys swimming through the water and resting on the shore. The seals were everywhere! Usually there are sea otters too, but I am sad to say, I didn't see a single one in the ocean. The only one I did see was in the amazing Monterrey Bay Aquarium.

One of my favorite parts of the trip was a drive down the coast. This area is called the Big Sur, which means the Big South. It is so beautiful! On one side of you if this beautiful mountain with redwood trees and on the other side are these massive cliffs that lead down to the ocean. We stopped to eat breakfast at this little inn called Deetjens. It is an old, rickety little building that has remained this since the 1920s. We had a delicious breakfast of french toast, and eggs benedict.

This trip was so much fun! I think my favorite part was just spending time with Josh and my mom and dad. We had so much fun talking, shopping, walking, eating, driving, etc. I love you guys! Thanks so much for inviting us!

Heaven on Earth :) Monterey Bay Aquarium is my most favorite of all the aquariums I've been too... it really spectacular. I 'm glad you guys had such a wonderful time!
