Birthday Presents and Birthday Party!

To start off Luke and Ellie's birthday festivities, we had a family birthday party for them at my parent's house. Look at his darling cake she had made for them! It's always so fun to celebrate with family. Then, Luke and Ellie got to have a special birthday sleepover at their house. They love being with my mom and dad. They went to see "Tangled," and got some great presents, including these blankets.
They also got to go to lunch with Grandma Jani for their birthday. They wanted to go to Red Lobster. Ellie and shrimp and Luke ate crab legs. They have such mature taste! Then, she took them to Toys R Us to pick out a little toy. They are so lucky to have such wonderful grandparents!

Luke and Ellie had a great birthday. They are so easy going and they wouldn't give me any ideas for what they wanted for presents. One day, I handed them a toy magazine and said, "Look through this and find a few things you like." That did the trick! They each found a few things and you would think from the expressions on their faces (especially Ellie's) that they had never seen these things before.

For their party, we took them and a few of their friends to the movie theatre to see "Yogi Bear." The kids all loved it. It was a fairly easy party and Luke and Ellie seemed to have a wonderful time with all of their buddies. Once again, I can't believe their six, and I don't think they can either! They keep telling people they're five!

Look at these silly boys!
