Six!

Luke and Ellie, I can't believe you are six! When did that happen? You are growing up too fast. I am so thankful for you both.

I am thankful that you are both so kind hearted. You are always thinking of others, which I think is pretty rare at your age.

You are still best friends. My favorite thing to see is you walking into Kindergarten holding hands. I'm so thankful that you have each other.

I am thankful that you are developing strong testimonies of the gospel and are starting to recognize the spirit. Luke, I will never forget your reaction to the live nativity we went to. As soon as you saw the baby Jesus, you said you felt a "poof in your head." That was the Holy Ghost talking to you. Never forget that feeling. Ellie, thank you for always remembering those who need help in your prayers. I know Heavenly Father hears you.

I am thankful for your expressive personalities. You are both so full of life and energy. Our house is always full of noise and chaos! Sometimes it makes me tired, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I know it wont last forever.

I have loved watching you learn and grow this last year. You are really growing up! It's really bitter sweet for me. I remember back to when you were babies. You were so tiny and needed me for everything. Now, you are six and doing so many things on your own. I am so proud of the little people you are becoming. I think you are amazing, wonderful, thoughtful, beautiful kids. I feel so blessed to be your mom. Happy Birthday.
