Christmas Day

Bless our kid's hearts, they slept in until 8! We had a great Christmas morning. One of our favorite things is opening our stockings. I think we spend more time on this than any of the other presents! The kids were thrilled with their gifts and our family room remained "club house central" for the next two weeks. We had our traditional ebelskeiver breakfast, and then spent a nice, relaxing day at home.
That night, my parents and Josh's parents came over for Christmas dinner. I got a Honey Baked Ham and made cheesey potatoes, rolls, salad and gingerbread pudding for dessert. We love this time we have to spend with our parents. It's so much fun for us and for our kids to get some great one on one time with their grandparents. It's one of my new favorite traditions.
Look at these darling slipper my mom and dad gave the kids! Can you guess which ones are whose?

My mom also gave the kids a book about a little tin soldier. Here they are reading it together.
I wish I had taken a picture of all of us together! It was a wonderful ending to a wonderful Christmas.
