This year, we spent Christmas Eve with our England cousins. It's always so much fun for our kids to be together with family. They really consider their cousins to be their best friends.

It has been our tradition for three years now to have the kids perform the nativity. This year, Grandma read the kids a book about the birth of Christ so they would really understand what they were depicting. Her are Luke and Ellie listening to the story.

They got to be Mary and Joseph this year. I was so proud of how reverently they portrayed them.

Their little cousin, Davis was the baby Jesus.

Parker was so excited to be a wiseman with his older cousins. He loves them.

He was also very reverent.

Here are most of the kids. The little ones got a little restless!

Then it was present time! The kids got these darling dogs from Grandma. They have been begging for a real pet. I told them this is as close as we are going to get!
Luke named his dog "Steele."

Ellie named her dog "Olive."

Parker named his "Shadow."

After Grandma's house, we headed home to get ready for Santa to come.
We put Rudolph's apple on the front porch....

Read a Christmas bedtime story....

Made Santa some cookies...

Then, off to bed! Look what Santa brought us! The kids had a wonderful Christmas morning!
